Hangzhou Towerrunning Race 2023 kicked off in Hangzhou Raffles City on Jun. 18th. The race was co-hosted by Hangzhou Sports Bureau and Shangcheng District People’s Government.

The race featured Men’s Open, Women’s Open and Family Group, gathered nearly 1000 participants. The athletes started at the south gate of Hangzhou Raffles City and finished at the tarmac of Tower 2 (Height 250m, Floor 60F, Stairs 1647). Soh Wai Ching (00:08:21) and Le Qinghua (00:10:46) won the championship of Men’s and Women’s Open. Both of them broke the record of the race.

As the Hangzhou Asian Games begins its 100-day countdown, Hangzhou is ready to welcome the athletes from Asian countries and regions. The race heats up ahead of Asian Games and shows the historical and dynamic Hangzhou to the world.
