The 2023 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships are held in Innsbruck-Stubai. A few of our best Towerrunners have made the trip to Austria to show the others where the hammer hangs 🙂

Valentina Belotti from Italy (with coach Emanuele Manzi) will race the “Vertical” as well as World Champion Piotr Lobodzinski from Poland and World Ranking Leader Wai Ching Soh from Malaysia.

It will also be the farewell race of 2015 Towerrunning World Champion Andrea Mayr. The Austrian multiple World & European Champion in Mountain Running (and multiple National Champion in many other sports too) is unbeaten in stair races and still holds the course record at Empire and 101. The picture shows her in action at Vienna’s Donauturm, where she is the one and onely sub4 woman.
